Northside Federal Credit Union was chartered December 27, 1970, for the purpose of serving the financial needs of the employees of Northside Hospital.

To insure the credit union's security, each member's account is insured
up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration
(NCUA), a U. S., a government agency.
The supervisory commeittee hires an independent auditor to perform a required annual audit. The committee also performs periodic reviews of the various functions of the credit union.
All directors and employees of the credit union are bonded by the CUMIS Insurance Society. A substatial preserve for possible losses is maintained with additions being made monthly.
